I have been looking for more information on the internet regarding the main Kesurokai events in Japan and just had a major breakthrough. Firstly the word in Japanese 削ろう会 and then the most frequently-used translation which spells it with a "z" (American in origin) and often also hyphenated, giving kezuro-kai or sometimes kezurou-kai.
Now Google is providing me with all sorts of interesting things like this:
